Sales Account Executive
General System Dynamics (GSD) is looking to hire an energetic and highly driven person to help grow our company. About General System Dynamics; we're a young, small and incredibly determined company based in Chicago, IL. looking to change the world in how companies look at data and data storage management. We're doing so by providing unique methods of data protection/preservation of data undergoing legal eDiscovery of ESI (electronically stored information). Additionally, we have the most advanced and accurate methods of storage forecasting and data storage use simulations available today. GSD has extensive experience providing technology, process and system design solutions in many markets including Financial, Insurance, Manufacturing, Information Technology (Software/Hardware) and many more.
What we're looking for is an exceptional individual willing to take risks and explore high growth opportunities in the GSD family. This person should have experience and be knowledgeable with general data storage and data backup concepts and technologies as well as the challenges and solutions available in the eDiscovery market and of course, enterprise sales. This position is accountable for overall sales leadership and management responsibility. The position is fully accountable for achieving and or exceeding business and revenue targets. Specifically this person would be:
- Responsible for planning, managing and assisting in executing the sales strategy to meet business objectives.
- Responsible for planning, managing and assisting in executing the development of strategic partner and reseller programs.
- Responsible for assisting in the development of marketing messages, collateral and presentations.
- Drive strategic account selling and complex deal development to clients and prospects.
- Partners with the support functions within the organization to perform strategic value assessments to clients and prospects.
- Participates in account planning strategy sessions for key accounts to ensure retention.
- Conduct client/prospect sales meetings and presentations designed to aggressively and professionally move the sales process towards agreement.
- Develops and maintains high-level relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Develops territory plans and participates in strategic and tactical planning.
- Helps drive new business through the identification of cross-selling opportunities within GSD.
- Develops and maintains a robust pipeline of sales opportunities and ensure and those opportunities are successfully progressing through the sales process.
- Accountable for developing a strong team with solid sales skills and demonstrates effective leadership and management through the selection, development and retention of a highly productive major account sales team. Able to build a strong succession plan within his/her organization.
- Effectively lead and manage any assigned employees (team members) to maximize and improve sales revenue through aggressive positioning, effective use of research/sales marketing tools and creative sales presentation techniques.
Qualifications
- BA / BS Degree required; MBA preferred
- Desired minimum of 10 years in a senior level management position with experience including Sales/ P&L responsibility in a Business Process Outsourcing organization.
- Desired minimum 10 years of sales experience leading multi-location organizations across geographies
- Demonstrated track record of accessing and interacting with key decision makers in organizations.
- Ability to build strong customer and cross-enterprise relationships.
- Outstanding negotiation, influencing, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and grasp the details of sophisticated business challenges and solutions.
- Track record for closing large deals.
- Track record for attracting and developing a diverse and successful sales team.
- Proven track record of providing leadership to a national sales force with a history of delivering exceptional results.
