The Chicago Bar Association recently hosted a seminar and panel; Introduction To Cloud Computing and the Virtual Office which included an overview of the technical aspects of cloud technology as well as insights from practitioners operating out of the “virtual” office. Brian Greenberg presented a technical overview on Cloud Computing and then participated on the panel with fellow panelists: R. Andrew Smith, Stephen Hoffman and moderator, Justin Heather. The Financial Communications Society assembled a wonderful panel at the Union League Club of Chicago to discuss Social Media for Financial Services and Managing all that Data. The symposium consisted of fabulous expert speakers and led by Alecia Dantico, our moderator. Eric Rehl of Robert W. Baird and Pat Allen of Rock the Boat Marketing, contributed incredibly valuable insights into content development, intra-organization social media management and tools and strategies to help with social media campaigns. Ruth Wagner of cmp.ly discussed technologies to help facilitate social media compliance through legal disclosure. Finally, Brian Greenberg of General System Dynamics discussed the need to partner with I.T. in an organization to develop a wholistic strategy for the development and management of social media and its associated data. The Data2.0 Conference was a great event exploring the ecology of data including topics in data storage management, data generation, legal implications of open data, data visualization and the monetization of data. Brian Greenberg designed & moderated the Augmented Business Intelligence and Data Storage Management panels and co-designed the The Law and Data & Scaling Out, Scaling Up panels. Brian Greenberg of General System Dynamics, along with representatives from Foley & Lardner and CUNA Mutual participated on a thought provoking panel at CampIT entitled "How to Gain Agreement Between Legal and IT on the Right Email Retention Policy". We had a great time at TECH Cocktail - Chicago 12 as one of the few companies chosen to demonstrate our products and technology. A good time was had by all as evidenced by the many photos hosted on flickr.
